Highland rainforest

The residency is located at a fascinating glamping site in the highland rainforest near Cusco, close to the town of Santa Teresa and very near Machu Picchu.
Under the Southern Hemisphere sky and guided by Inca cosmology, working alongside specialists in the sky and its local stories, we will move beyond dominant Western narratives that have historically colonized these territories, seeking to recover and foreground local stories within an extraordinary high altitude rainforest.
Once the residents arrive at the airport they will be picked up by someone from the League of stars team and at the end of their stay they will be taken back to the airport (CUZ, Cusco Airport) Alejandro Velasco Astete.

RESIDENCY PERIOD:
September 3th to September 10th 2026.
The program rate includes all expenses for pick up at the airport, meals, transfers by car, lodging, and the evening classes and sky gazing sessions with local experts.
