A Sirius Recipe For A Star is a video-installation and text performance by Clarice Gargard. Inspired by Dog Star Sirius and it's mysterious link to the Dogon people of Mali, she traverses and navigates indigenous astronomical knowledge, Ancestral Intelligence and conjures  the ingredients that cook up a star. Casting cosmic light on birth, life and the death of empire. What happens when the 'Fire Next Time', as told by James Baldwin, becomes the Fire Right Now and there is no one left to rescue us from the flames?
